Lilit Safaryan

Lilit Safaryan is a fashion designer and industry expert with over 20 years of experience in couture and custom clothing. She graduated from Moscow State University of Design and Technology‚ as a pattern maker. After working for several years as a clothing designer and patten maker, she moved to Milan, Italy to achieve her second master’s degree in fashion design from Istituto Europeo di Design. During this period, Lilit worked closely and trained with a number of famous fashion houses and designers from Brioni, La Perla, CP Company, Stone Island and Henry Beguelin. 

Born in Yerevan, Armenia, Lilit moved around as a child and lived in Germany, Italy and Russia. After getting married, she moved to Emeryville, CA to live with her husband. 

Inspired by local, natural styles, Lilit opened “Lili Safarini” boutique in Berkeley with intention to create unique, couture gowns for local brides. 

Lilit’s fascination with art started at a very young age; she started creating small mix media art pieces from any materials that she found around. 

In 2015 Lilit started to make art pieces for family and friends. In 2019 Lilit applied to participate at the 33rd Annual Emeryville Art Exhibition and her work was selected. Another of Lilit’s pieces was presented at the Berkeley Art Center in January 2020.
